45 na people’s organization sa Davao de Oro, nakatanggap ng livelihood assistance mula sa DSWD

Ginawaran ng Department of Social Welfare and Development o DSWD XI ng livelihood assistance ang 45 people’s organization o PO sa Davao de Oro sa ilalim ng Sustainable Livelihood Program kahapon.

Ginanap ang turnover sa provincial capitol lobby, na dinaluhan ng mga opsiyal ng DSWD, AFP, PSWDO, at ni Gov. Dorothy Gonzaga,  kung saan aabot sa P13.5M ang halaga ng iginawad na ayuda.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ni Kerwin Gabasa, ang Provincial Coordinator ng SLP, pangunahing layunin ng program na mapalago ang kabuhayan ng mga dating rebelde sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay sa kanila ng sustainable livelihood.

Ang bawat PO ay nakatanggap ng seed capital funds na nagkakahalaga ng P300,000 para makapagsimula ng kanilang livelihood projects tulad ng General Merchandise, Agrivet Supply, Chicken Production, Rice Retailing , at iba pa.

Pinasalamatan naman ng DSWD ang provincial govrnment, security sector, at mga partner agencies sa tulong nito sa pagtukoy ng mga kwalipikadong benepisyaryo, at sa pagsigurong patuloy ang pag-unlad ng mga PO at ng kanilang mga komunidad.

Samantala, hinikayat naman ni Governor Gonzaga ang mga benepisyaryo na gamitin ng maayos ang ayudang ibinigay sa kanila ng pamahalaan para sa kaunlaran ng bawat miyembro ng kanilang asosasyon. | ulat Maymay Benedicto | RP1 Davao
