COMELEC, muling nagpaalala sa tamang pangangampanya para sa paparating na BSKE 2023

Muling pinaalalahanan ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ang mga mangangampanya para sa paparating na Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) na bawal maglagay, magdikit, o magpaskil ng mga campaign materials sa panahon ng kampanya mula October 19-28, 2023.

Ayon sa COMELEC, ang mga sumusunod na lugar ay hindi dapat gamitin ng mga kandidato para sa kanilang pangangampanya:

* Mga publicly owned electronic announcement boards katulad ng LED display board, LCD monitor, at iba pa na pagmamay-ari ng pamahalaan

* Mga sasakyang pagmamay-ari ng gobyerno katulad ng patrol car, ambulansya, at iba pang sasakyan partikular na ang may government license plates

* Mga public transport vehicles na pagmamay-ari at kontrolado ng pamahalaan katulad ng MRT, LRT, PNR, at iba pang klase ng pampublikong transportasyon

* Waiting shed, sidewalk, street at lamp post, electric post, traffic sign, pedestrian overpass at underpass, flyover at underpass, tulay, lansangan, center island sa kalsada at highway

* Paaralan, public shrines, barangay hall, opisina o tanggapan ng pamahalaan, health center, pampublikong istraktura o gusali

* Mga public transport terminals na pagmamay-ari at kontrolado ng pamahalaan tulad ng bus terminal, airport, seaport, dock, pier, train station at iba pang katulad nito

Ang mga kandidato ay dapat maglagay, magkabit, o magpaskil lamang ng legal na campaign materials sa designated common poster areas at private property na may pahintulot ng may-ari.

Nagpaalala rin ang COMELEC na ang pamimigay, pag-aalok, o pangangako ng pera o anumang bagay na may halaga para sa sinumang tao para hikayatin na bumoto para o laban sa isang kandidato ay lumalabag sa batas at gumagawa ng election offense na vote-buying.
