DILG, nagpaalala sa mga LGU na maging non-partisan sa BSKE

Nagpaalala ang Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa mga Local Government Units na maging non-partisan sa Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections.

Ipinaalala ni DILG Assistant Director Izza Marie Lurio, ang tagubilin ni DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. sa mga alkalde na iwasan na may pinapanigang kandidato.

Binalaan din ni Lurio ang mga kandidato sa paggamit ng social services program ng pamahalaan sa kanilang pangangampanya.

Tiniyak ng DILG na babantayan ang lahat ng mga kaganapan sa panahon ng kampanya hanggang matapos ang halalan.

Sa ngayon, naka-monitor na ang Philipine National Police sa mga lugar na posibleng magkaroon ng irigularidad o maraming reports ng paglabag ng mga kandidato.
