DSWD, handa ring maglaan ng tulong sa pamilya ng nasawing hazing victim na si Ahldryn Bravante

Tiniyak ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na tutulungan nito ang pamilya ng nasawing graduating student dahil sa hazing na si Ahldryn Bravante.

Ayon kay DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, nagbigay na ito ng direktiba sa kanilang field office para mapuntahan ang pamilya ng biktima at mabigyan ito ng tulong pinansyal.

Nilinaw ng kalihim na bagamat suspendido ngayon ang programang Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), hindi matitigil ang paghahatid ng tulong ng ahensya lalo na sa mga lubos na nangangailangan.

Sa ilalim ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) guidelines, suspendido muna ang pamamahagi ng AICS mula October 20 hanggang sa October 30 maliban na lamang kung ito ay para sa pangangailangang gaya ng medical, educational, at burial assistance. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
