Listahan ng mga kandidato para sa tatlong mga posisyon sa MIC, maaaring isumite na kay PBBM ngayong linggo – DOF

Posibleng maisumite na kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ngayong linggo ang listahan ng mga kandidato para sa tatlong matataas na posisyon ng Maharlika investment corporation (MIC) – ito ang para sa president and CEO ng MIC, regular directors at independent directors.

Sa pagdinig ng Senate Subcommittee on Finance sa panukalang 2024 budget ng Department of Finance (DOF), sinabi ni Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno na sa ngayon ay naihanda na ang listahan ng mga kandidato.

Sa pagtaya ni Diokno, posibleng sa unang bahagi ng 2024 o ng susunod na taon ay maging operational na ang MIC at magsisimula na itong mamuhunan sa mga infrastrucsture projects.

Kinumpirma rin ng kalihim na sa ngayon ay kumpleto na ang pag-remit ng Land Bank of the Philippine at Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) ng kapital sa Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF).

Bukod sa P75 billion mula sa Land Bank at DBP ay may dagdag pang 31 billion pesos mula sa dibidendo ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na pwedeng gamitin.| ulat ni Nimfa Asuncion
