LTO, pabibilisin ang produksyon ng plaka

Tinatarget ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) na ilarga na ang ‘full production’ ng ‘plate making plant’ ng ahensya.

Ayon kay LTO chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II, ito ay para masigurong mapapabilis ang distribusyon ng mga plaka sa mga motorista.

Kamakailan lang, nag-inspeksyon na si Mendoza sa planta para i-monitor ang produksyon ng plaka.

Kasama sa plano nito ang matugunan ang backlog sa license plates.

Balak rin nitong iangat ang produksyon ng mga makina sa planta para hindi na matagalan pa ang mga motorista sa paghihintay ng kanilang plaka.

“They started with five equipment, I think by now there are eight machines working, they will reach 32,000 plates production a day. We will announce very soon, within the week upon DOTr approval na kaya na nating tugunan,” Mendoza. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
