Mga Pinoy repatriates mula Israel, nabigyan na ng cash assistance ng DSWD

Pinagkalooban na ng financial assistance ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang second batch ng Filipino repatriates mula sa Israel na umuwi ng bansa noong Biyernes.

Binubuo ng 18 OFW ang second batch na sinalubong ng DSWD at iba pang government officials, pagdating sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

Hanggang kahapon, umabot na sa 34 na OFWs ang naasistehan ng DSWD sa pamamagitan ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program.

Bawat repatriated OFW ay nakatanggap ng P10,000 cash aid at food assistance na nagkakahalaga ng P10,000.

Pagtitiyak pa ni DSWD Assistant Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez na makakatanggap pa rin ng ibang services ang mga OFW mula sa DSWD field offices.

Bukod sa DSWD, nangako din ng livelihood at financial support ang Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) sa mga umuwing OFWs. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
