Pagpapasailalim ng DAP sa NEDA, ipinag-utos ng Malacañang

Ibinaba ng Malacañang ang Executive Order (EO) No. 45 na naglilipat sa Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) mula sa Office of the President (OP) patungo sa ilalim ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA).

Ito ay bilang bahagi ng rightsizing policy ng Marcos Administration.

Base sa EO na pirmado ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, nakasaad ang pangangailangan ng matatag na organization link sa pagitan ng NEDA at DAP, upang mapaigting ang development at implementasyon ng human resource development programs, research, data collection, at information services ng DAP.

Kabilang rin ang pagsisiguro sa consistency ng research, education at training kabalikat ang national government’s socioeconomic agenda.

“Pursuant to the rightsizing policy of the national government, it is imperative to streamline and rationalize the functional relationships of agencies with complementary mandates to promote coordination, efficiency, and organizational coherence in the bureaucracy,” — EO.

Ang DAP ay binuo upang isulong at suportahan ang development efforts ng gobyerno, sa pamamagitan ng pagsasagawa ng mga human resource program, na dinisenyo para sa pagpapaigting ng management capability ng mga itinuturing na key sector ng pamahalaan at ng ekonomiya. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
