Pinayuhan ni Kabayan Party-list Rep. Ron Salo ang mga pamilya ng overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) na boboto ngayon Lunes para sa Barangay at Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).
Aniya, mahalaga na ang kanilang ihahalal na opisyal ay yung nakakaintindi at isusulong ang kanilang kapakanan.
Ilan aniya sa mga hamon na ito ay ang pagbibigay gabay sa mga naiwang anak ng mga OFW parents.
“Families with absent parents or family members working abroad face distinctive hurdles, and it is imperative that our elected leaders comprehend and address these issues effectively. The children of OFWs need guidance, and it is essential that the barangay officials, as community leaders, are able to extend this support. Thus, it is essential to vote for officials who would perform the functions of the state as parens patriae, acting as the parent of the nation, particularly for families of OFWs,” sabi ni salo
Sa paraang ito, masisiguro na mabibigyang prayoridad at matututukan ang kapakanan ng mga pamilya para sa isang mas progresibong lipunan.
Kasabay ng paghimok sa mga Pilipino na i-exercise ang karapatan na bumoto ay pinaalalahanan din nito ang publiko na bumoto ng tama.
Ang botong ito kasi aniya ay hindi lamang para sa ikabubuti ng pamayanan sa kasalukuyan ngunit lalo na para sa hinaharap.
