Bilang sukli sa pagsuporta sa pagpapaunlad ng Bicol Region ay mananatiling buo ang tiwala at kumpiyansa ng Bicol Saro party-list kay Speaker Martin Romualdez at sa kaniyang inklusibo at action-oriented na pamumuno.
Punto ni Bicol Saro party-list Rep. Brian Yamsuan, ang paghimok sa kanila ni Romualdez na pag-igihan ang pagtatrabaho ay nagersulta sa mabilis na pagpapatibay ng Kamara sa lahat ng priority bills ng Marcos Jr. administration.
Katunayan, bago ang mag-recess ang Kamara nitong nakaraang buwan ay natapos pagtibayin ng Mababang Kapulungan ang lahat ng 20 LEDAC priority bills.
“Speaker Romualdez has demonstrated how inclusive and action-oriented leadership, along with a high degree of professionalism, can result in record accomplishments for the House of the People. Under his stewardship, the House was able to attain 100 percent approval of the bills under the Common Legislative Agenda of the 19th Congress way ahead of schedule. He was able to accomplish this remarkable feat without sidelining anyone. He listened and valued the inputs of every lawmaker—from district to partylist representatives, or whether he or she belongs to the majority of minority. Pinakinggan ‘nya ang lahat ng panig at nirespeto ang kanilang mga inputs at opinyon, kaya naman umani rin siya ng mataas na respeto mula sa bawat mambabatas,” ani Yamsuan.
Kabilang pa sa mga mahahalagang ipinasa ng Kamara ang P5.768- trillion 2024 National Budget, Trabaho Para sa Bayan Act, reporma sa pagbubuwis, paghihigpit laban sa smuggling at online fraud kasama na ang Philippine Salt Industry Development Act, kung saan isa sa mga may-akda si Yamsuan at iba pang Bicolano representatives sa pangunguna ni Camarines Sur Rep. LRay Villafuerte.
Kasama ri nsa pinagtibay ng Kamara ang mga local bills na pakikinabangan ng Bicol Region gaya ng satellite multi-species marine hatcheries, pagdeklara sa ilang lugar sa Bicol bilang ecotourism destinations, at pagtatayo ng TESDA Training and Assessment Centers.| ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
