DOTr, nakahanda na para sa pagdagsa ng mga pasahero ngayong holiday season

Inihayag ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) na nakahanda na ang ahensya para sa pagdagsa ng mga pasahero ngayong holiday season.

Ayon kay Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, nakahanda na ang transportation sector lalo na ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport ngayong Kapaskuhan.

Ito ang sinabi ng kalihim sa sidelines ng paglulunsad ng libreng WiFi sa NAIA Terminal 3 ngayong araw.

Dagdag pa ng kalihim, magiging batayan ng kanilang paghahanda para sa Kapaskuhan ang Undas at barangay elections kung saan inaasahan na nasa 138,000 na mga pasahero ang dagdagsa kada araw sa airport.

Binigyang diin din ni Bautista ang on-time performance ng NAIA na naitala sa 84% noong Undas at inaasahang mas tataas ito ngayong holidays.

Hinikayat naman ng kalihim ang mga pasahero na mag-book ng flights ng maaga at iwasan ang last minute booking at dumating sa airport ng tatlong oras bago ang flight upang makaiwas sa abala. | ulat ni Diane Lear
