Nakipagpulong si Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno sa mga Finance Minister na dumadalo ngayon ng Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit sa Estados Unidos.

Si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ay nakatakdang umalis patungong Amerika mamayang gabi para sa APEC Leaders’ Summit.

Ayon kay Diokno, ang mahalagang pagtitipon ng mga finance minister ay upang talakayin ang iba’t ibang global economic issues, kabilang dito ang action plans para palakasin ang financial resilience, advancing fiscal reforms, trends para sa sustainable finance art digital assets, at ang global and regional economic and financial outlook.

Sinabi ng kalihim, na ibinahagi ni United States Secretary of Treasury Janet Yellen na importanteng makamit ang shared vision sa Asia Pacific Community, kung saan ito ang ang pagiging open, dynamic, resilient at pagkakaron ng payapang koordinasyon at kolaborasyon ng member economies.
