Grupo ng supermarkets sa bansa, kumpiyansa sa mas mababang inflation sa bansa sa buwan ng Oktubre

Naniniwala ang Philippine Amalgamated Supermarkets Association (PAGASA) na posible o bahagyang bababa ang inflation rate sa buwan ng Oktubre.

Ito ay dahil sa mga hakbang ng gobyerno na panatilihing mababa ang presyo ng mga bilihin at palakasin pa ang pagbebenta ng local products.

Ayon kay Philippine Amalgamated Supermarkets Association President Steven Cua, ang mga presyo ng mga produkto sa mga supermarket ay nananatiling “stable” o walang paggalaw noong nakaraang buwan, kung saan may ilan pa ang nagbababa ng presyo.

Pabor din ang kanilang grupo sa pagtaya ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, na posibleng maglaro sa 5.1 to 5.9 percent range ang inflation sa buwan ng Oktubre, kumpara noong Setyembre na nasa 6.1 percent.

Bukod dito, malaking tulong rin ang mga naging hakbang ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. lalo na ang pagpapatupad ng Executive Order No. 39 o price cap sa bigas, kaya’t napanatiling mababa ang presyo mga bilihin.

Paliwanag pa ni Cua, hindi na kakayanin pa ng mga consumer sakaling magkaroon pa ng pagtaas pa ng presyo ng bilihin kung kaya’t kailangan na maging stable ito upang hindi mawalan ng pagkakakitaan. | ulat ni Lorenz Tanjoco
