Joint patrol operations ng Pilipinas at Amerika, masusundan pa – DND

Nanindigan ang Department of National Defense (DND) na legal at may batayan ang ginagawang Joint Maritime Patrols sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Amerika.

Ito ang reaksyon ni Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro sa mga patutsada ng China, matapos na pangunahan nito ang ika-84 na anibersaryo ng kagawaran ngayong araw.

Tahasang sinabi ni Teodoro, na ang China ang siyang unang gumawa ng gulo matapos angkinin nito ang kabuuan ng West Philippine Sea.

Giit pa ng kalihim, binabaliktad ng China ang katotohanan lalo pa’t ang interes ng Pilipinas ay protektahan ang karapatan nito alinsunod sa itinatakda ng United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea o UNCLOS at ng International Law

Dahil dito, sinabi ni Teodoro, na masusundan pa ang joint operations sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Amerika lalo pa’t may karapatan naman ang Pilipinas sa karagatan nito, at hindi ito mahahadlangan ng sinuman o anumang bansa. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
