Kaliwa’t kanang kasunduan ang inaasahang malalagdaan ng Pilipinas, sa anim na araw na working visit ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., sa Estados Unidos, para sa pakikibahagi nito sa ika-30 APEC Summit sa San Francisco, California.
“Mga kababayan, since the start of my administration, we have not wavered in our promise of “not leaving anyone behind” and for a resilient Philippines, where the fruits of our hard work are equitably shared by all,” pahayag ng Pangulong Marcos.
Sa departure speech ng Pangulo, sinabi nito na sasaksihan niya ang paglagda ng ilang kasunduan, mapa- government-to-government man o public-private partnerships, at business agreements, na ilang buwan nang sumasailalim sa negosasyon.
“There will be several engagements with private sector representatives from the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) to discuss how we can use public-private partnerships to fulfill our agenda in innovative and sustainable development, finance, and economic and business reform.”
Sakop ng mga malalagdaang kasunduang ito ang linya ng nuclear energy, artificial intelligence para sa weather foreacasting, health sciences, particular ang cancer research at prevention, kabilag rin ang kasunduan para sa satellite connectivity, at iba pa.
“We will be engaging with the leaders of economies of the Asia-Pacific region to agree on how we can achieve food and energy security, economic inclusion of our micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), women, indigenous people, and other segments of our economy whose potential remains to be unlocked through digitalization and innovation, and sustainable development and addressing the climate change crisis.”
Sa APEC CEO Summit, naimbitahan rin ang Pangulo na magsilbing keynote speaker, kung saan ibabahagi ng Pangulo ang karanasan ng Pilipinas sa pagsisiguro ng inclusivity habang tinatahak ang green economy.

Binanggit rin ng Pangulo ang nakatakdang pagbisita sa Los Angeles, California at sa Honolulu, Hawaii.
“As with my previous visits, I expect to meet with American business leaders to further promote trade and investment opportunities here in the Philippines. Our economic team and I will be joined by a high-profile business delegation in exploring new and expanding partnerships.”
Bahagi ng mga aktibidad ng Pangulo ang pagharap sa Filipino Community sa tatlong siyudad na kaniyang pupuntahan sa US.
“I look forward to meeting the Filipino Communities there in all three cities.
