LTO, nanawagan ng kooperasyon sa mga ahensya ng pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad ng ‘No Registration, No Travel’ policy

Umaasa ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa pakikipagtulungan ng iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan sa pagpapatupad nito ng “No Registration, No Travel” policy.

Ayon kay LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, inatasan na nito ang lahat ng regional directors na makipag-ugnayan sa mga government agencies para sa renewal ng kanilang mga sasakyan na may expired registration.

Kasama sa direktiba nito ang pagbuo ng consolidated list ng delinquent vehicles sa government agencies para agad makapagsagawa ang LTO ng konsultasyon sa mga ito.

Aniya, mahalaga ang kooperasyon ng mga ahensya ng gobyerno dahil nakasalalay rito ang kaligtasan ng bawat road users sa bansa.

Una nang iniulat ng LTO na nasa 65% ng motor vehicles sa bansa ang maituturing na ‘delinquent’ o mga hindi nairehistro.

Katumbas ito ng 24.7 milyong delinquent motor vehicles o revenue loss na papalo sa
₱37.10-billion.

“We have around 24.7 million delinquent vehicles and some of them are registered under various government agencies.
