Welcome sa Department of Social Welfare and Development ang pag-apruba ng Php 3 bilyong karagdagang pondo para sa Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS)Program nito.

Ayon kay DSWD Assistant Secretary Romel Lopez,ang inaprobahang pondo ay pandagdag sa tumataas na pangangailangan para sa support services ng mga indibidwal at pamilyang dumaranas ng krisis.

Inanunsyo ng Department of Budget and Management noong Nobyembre 16 ang pagpapalabas ng Special Allotment Release Order para sa programa ng ahensya para sa taong 2023 at ang kaukulang Notice of Cash Allocation nito.

Sinabi ni Lopez,dahil sa karagdagang pondo, mas maraming indibidwal na ang maaaring mabigyan ng tulong.

Binigyang halimbawa nito ang tulong medikal, pagpapalibing, transportasyon, edukasyon, pagkain at financial assistance mula sa DSWD. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
