Pinayuhan ni DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. ang lahat ng bagong proklamang barangay officials na ipakita ang pagiging mahusay na lider sa kanilang pagganap sa tungkulin.

Sinabi niya na kung ano ang tama ay siyang gawin.  Ang pamumuno aniya ay hindi tungkol sa kapangyarihan kung hindi ito ay isang responsibilidad.

Pahayag ito ng kalihim sa ginanap na Alay sa Masa oath-taking ceremony ng mga bagong elected barangay officials sa Quirino Province kahapon.

Sabi pa ng kalihim na ang kailangan ng bansa sa panahong ito ay mga lider na may pananaw at integridad na maaaring magbigay ng inspirasyon at pagkakaisa sa kanilang mga komunidad. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
