Paglalabas ng P3-B karagdagang pondo para sa AICS program ng DSWD, inaprubahan ng DBM

Aprubado na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang paglalabas ng Php3 billion additional fund para sa Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, ito ay bilang pagtalima na rin sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na patatagin ang social protection measures ng pamahalaan, para sa mga Pilipino, lalo na iyong mga mas nangangailangan.

Sinabi ng kalihim na batid ng gobyerno na kailangan ng vulnerable at marginalized sector ang programang ito ng DSWD.

“In adherence with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive, we will continue to strengthen social protection measures for our kababayans, especially the marginalized and vulnerable sectors. Alam at naiintindihan po namin na malaking tulong po ang programang ito sa mga kababayan nating nangangailangan,” —Secretary Pangandaman.
