Pinagusapan ng US marine Corps at Philippine Navy ang posibilidad ng pagpapadala ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Marine Corps sa Estados Unidos para sa “schooling”.

Kabilang ito sa mga paksang tinalakay sa pagbista ng bagong Commanding General ng United States’ I (One) Marine Expeditionary Force o I MEF Maj. Gen. Bradford Gering sa Phil. Navy Headquarters kahapon.

Si Maj. Gen. Gering ay malugod na tinanggap ni Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Jose Ma. Ambrosio Ezpeleta.

Napagusapan din ng dalawang opisyal ang mga nakatakdang ehersisyo at bilateral training initiatives sa pagitan ng Philippine at US Marine Corps.

Nagpasalamat naman si RAdm. Ezpeleta sa US Marine Corps sa kanilang pagiging “steady partner” sa pag-angat ng kapabilidad ng marine Force ng Philippine Navy, sa pamamagitan ng regular na pagsasanay tulad ng nakalipas na SAMASAMA 2023 exercise. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
