Panibagong batch ng OFWs mula Israel, nakatakdang umuwi sa Pilipinas ngayong araw

Nakatakdang umuwi sa Pilipinas ang panibagong batch ng Overseas Filipino Worker (OFWs) buhat sa Israel ngayong araw.

Batay sa abiso ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), alas-3:10 mamayang hapon nakatakdang lumapag ang sinasakyan nilang Etihad Airways Flight EY-424 sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.

Ayon pa sa DMW, 37 OFWs ang sakay ng naturang eroplano na magsisilbing ika-6 na batch ng mga Pilipinong piniling umuwi sa bansa dahil sa nagpapatuloy na sigalot sa pagitan ng Israel at ng rebeldeng Hamas.

Sa kasalukuyan, patuloy na binobomba ng Israeli forces ang grupong Hamas sa Gaza Strip sa nakalipas na siyam na araw.

Nabatid sa pinakahuling datos na mahigit 1.5 milyon na ang lumikas mula sa Gaza Strip matapos magbukas ng humanitarian corridor doon.  | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
