Nagsagawa ng Field Training Exercise sa Maritime Security Readiness ang Philippine Navy (PN) at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa Ilocos Norte nitong Sabado para mapahusay ang kanilang kolaborasyon sa mga pinagsanib na operasyon.

Ang aktibidad ay bahagi ng ongoing Armed Forces of the Philippes (AFP) Joint Exercise-Dagat, Langit, at Lupa (AJEX-DAGITPA).

Kalahok sa Field Training Exercise ang BRP Ramon Alcaraz (PS16), BRP Nestor Reinoso (PC380), at NV320 Islander aircraft ng Philippine Navy (PN), kasama ang BRP Malapascua (MRRV-4403) ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). 

Nakilahok din sa ehersisyo ang Special Operations Group ng PN at PCG Command sa Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) area of responsibility.

Ang pagsasanay sa Maritime Security Preparedness ay tatagal hanggang November 16, kung saan makakasama din ang Philippine Air Force at Philippine Army.  | ulat ni Leo Sarne
