Philippine Army Shooting Contingent, nagtapos sa ikatlong pwesto sa ASEAN Rifle Meet

Nagtapos sa ikatlong pwesto ang Philippine Army Shooting Contingent (PASCON) sa 10 bansang lumahok sa 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations Armies Rifle Meet (AARM).

Ang paligsahan na pinangasiwaan ng Royal Thai Army ay idinaos sa Infantry Training Center, Fort Thanarat, Pran Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand nitong Nobyembre 16 hanggang 25.

Binati ni Philippine Army Chief Lt. General Roy Galido ang 25 miyembro ng PASCON sa pangunguna ni Col. William Victorino F. Upano sa matagumpay na pakikilahok sa isang linggong kumpetisyon.

Nakamit ng PASCON ang isang perpetual trophy, 12 gintong medalya, 7 silver medal, at 6 na bronze medal, na nagresulta sa pagtatapos sa ikatlong pwesto, kasunod ng Vietnam na pumangalawa, at Indonesia, na overall champion.
