Pinal na IRR para sa Maharlika, ‘ultimate safeguard’ ng pondo — SDS Gonzales

Pinapurihan ni House Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr. ang pagsasapinal ng Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) para sa pangangasiwa ng Maharlika Investment Corporation (MIC).

Para sa mambabatas, ito aniya ang magsisilbing “ultimate safeguard” para sa pinakahihintay na Maharlika Investment Fund.

Sa pamamagitan aniya ng inilabas na regulasyon ay magpapalakas sa otonomiya ng Board of Directors, para sa isang pamamahala na independent o walang impluwensya lalo na ng politika.

“The final IRR, approved by no less than President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., stands as a testament to the commitment to reinforce the governance structure of the MIC, ensuring that the Board of Directors possesses the necessary freedom to administer the fund without external interference, thus bolstering its effectiveness and credibility in the financial landscape,” sabi ni Gonzales.

Para sa ikalawang pinakamataas na opisyal ng Kamara, mahalagang hakbang ang pagiging independent ng MIC upang malaya nitong magampanan ang mandato para sa papasok an investments na siyang makatutulong para sa lalo pang pag-unlad ng ekonomiya ng Pilipinas.

“This step ensures that the board of directors can operate in a manner that best serves the interests of the corporation and its stakeholders, free from any undue political pressures. This independence will enable the MIC to perform its crucial role in investment activities, contributing significantly to the economic growth and stability of the nation,” dagdag ng mambabatas.
