Tiniyak ni Philippine National Police (PNP) Public Information Office Chief Police Colonel Jean Fajardo ang patuloy na pag-alalay ng PNP sa mga apektado ng transport strike.

Ito’y sa gitna ng tatlong araw na tigil-pasada ng grupong MANIBELA mula ngayong araw hanggang Biyernes.

Kasunod ito ng tigil-pasada ng grupong PISTON na nasa ikatlong araw ngayong Miyerkules.

Hinihiling ng dalawang grupo na mapalawig ang consolidation ng Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program.

Ayon kay Fajardo, mayroon silang sapat na mobility assets na ipinakalat para sa libreng-sakay katuwang ang Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
