Nagpaalala ang Philippine National Police (PNP) sa publiko laban sa online shopping scam lalo na ngayong panahon ng Kapaskuhan.

Ito’y ayon sa PNP, makaraang lumabas sa pag-aaral ng Asia Scam Report 2023 na ang Pilipinas ay may pinakamataas na kaso ng Online Shopping Scam sa Asya.

Ayon kay PNP Public Information Office Chief, Police Col. Jean Fajardo, dapat maging mapanuri sa mga bibisitahing online store.

Una nang ikinabahala ng Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) ang tumataas na kaso ng online shopping scam lalo na sa panahong ito na marami nang nakatatanggap ng 13th Month Pay at Christmas Bonus.

Kaya naman sinabi ni Fajardo na dapat suriing maigi kung lehitimo ba ang online shopping store na kanilang pupuntahan at tingnan din ang reviews ng mga napagbentahan bago umorder.  | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
