Red alert status, itinaas ng OCD-11 sa Davao Region, dahil sa patuloy na sama ng panahon

Magpapatuloy pa rin ang Red Alert Status ng Office of the Civil Defense – 11 (OCD-11) sa buong Davao Region dahil sa sama ng panahon na nangyayari.

Ito ang inihayag ni OCD-11 Spokesperson Karlo Alexei Puerto sa isinagawang AFP-PNP Press Corps Southern Mindanao Media Briefing.

Ayon kay Puerto, pagkatapos ng 6.8 magnitude na lindol sa bayan ng Sarangani, Davao Occidental nitong nakaraang Nobyembre 17, 2023, patuloy naman ang pagbaha sa ilang bahagi ng rehiyon.

Sa ngayon, sa pagkalusaw ng low pressure area, binabantayan nito ang papasok na shear line na maaring magdulot ng pagbaha.

Ipinag-utos na rin umano ng OCD-11 sa lahat ng local disaster risk reduction and managment teams na ihanda ang kanilang mga kagamitan sa pag-rescue. | ulat ni Armando Fenequito | RP1 Davao
