Binawi na ng Office of the President ang preventive suspension na una nang ipinataw kay LTFRB Chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III, makaraang madawit sa akusasyon ng katiwalian sa tanggapan.
Pahayag ito ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, kasunod ng inihaing Affidavit of Recantation ni Jefferson Tumbado, kung saan binawi nito ang mga una nang paratang kay Guadiz.
“The Office of the President lifted the suspension order imposed upon LTFRB Chairperson Teofilo Guadiz III after Jefferson Gallos Tumbado, who appears to be the sole witness in his case, executed an Affidavit of Recantation withdrawing his statements and allegations against him.” —OES.
Ayon sa OES, dahil sa pag-bawi ni Tumbado ng kaniyang paratang, wala nang dahilan upang ipasailalim pa sa preventive suspension si Guadiz.
Maliban na lamang aniya kung mayroong kaparehong akusasyon laban kay Guadiz ang ihahain sa Office of the President.
