Nagpahayag ang Commission on Higher Education (CHED) ng buong suporta sa Department of Education (DepEd) sa pagtugon sa resulta at implikasyon ng 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
Ayon kay CHED Chairperson Popoy De Vera, makikipagtulungan ang komisyon sa DepEd para mapaunlad ang performance ng mga Pinoy leader sa international large-scale assessments (ILSAs).
Makikipag-ugnayan aniya ito sa Centers of Development (COD) at Centers of Excellence (COEs) in Teacher Education para mas mahimay ang detalye ng lumabas na resulta ng report at makabuo ng komprehensibong solusyon dito.
Kasama rin sa plano nito ang pagpapalwak ng
Technical Panel for Teacher Education (TPTE) para maisama ang DepEd curriculum development at learner assessment specialists sa pagtugon sa quality preservice teacher education.
Maglalabas din aniya ito ng expanded TPTE special learning module na magagamit ng mga guro.
Dagdag pa ni Chair Popoy, bumuo na rin ang CHED ng isang Technical Working Group at guidelines sa monitoring at evaluation process para mas maiangat pa ang kalidad sa pagtuturo ng bawat guro. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
