French Minister of the Armed Forces, bibisita sa bansa

Bibisita sa bansa bukas ang French Minister of the Armed Forces na si Sébastien Lecornu.

Sa abisong inilabas ng French Embassy sa Manila, ang Ministro kasama ang kanyang delegasyon ay nakatakdang magkaroon ng pagpupulong kasama si Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro at mga matataas na opisyal ng DND at Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Ayon sa Embahada, ang pagbisita ay bunga ng kasunduan ng Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at French President Emmanuel Macron na palakasin ang strategic partnership ng Pilipinas at Pransya.

Sinabi naman ni DND spokesperson Arsenio Andolong na pag-uusapan ng dalawang opisyal ang “international security developments” at pagpapalakas ng kooperasyong pandepensa ng Pilipinas at Pransya sa gitna ng mga kasalukuyang hamong panseguridad. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
