Ika-18 batch ng OFWs mula sa Lebanon, nakabalik na sa Pilipinas

Nakabalik na sa Pilipinas ang nasa 18 Pilipino na naipit sa gulo sa pagitan ng Israeli Forces at ng Lebanese Militant Group na Hezbollah.

Sakay ito ng Qatar Airways flight QR932 mula sa Doha na lumapag sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) alas-4:11 ng hapon kahapon.

Personal na sinalubong sila ni Assistant Secretary Felecitas Bay ng Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), at mga kinatawan ng Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Ayon sa DMW, aabot na sa 82 mga OFW ang napauwi na sa bansa, habang 28 rito ang mga Pilipinong naninirahan sa Lebanon na piniling umuwi na rin. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
