Tiniyak ng Port Management Office ng Surigao del Sur na ligtas ang lahat ng mga pantalan sa lalawigan matapos ang isinagawang assessment dahil sa magnitude 7.4 na lindol noong Sabado ng gabi.

Sa report na nakarating kay Philippine Port Authority General Manager Jay Santiago, walang malaking pinsala sa anumang pantalan sa lalawigan.

Pero ang pantalan na sakop ng PMO Surigao na Lawigan Port sa Bislig Surigao del Sur ay nakitaan ng ‘minor cracks’ sa operational area nito dulot ng lindol.

Ngunit ligtas naman daw itong gamitin at walang dapat ikabahala ang mga pasahero at maging mga cargo at passenger vessel.

Nakabalik naman agad sa opisina ang mga empleyado ng Terminal Management Office Tandag noong gabi ng Sabado matapos silang ilikas dahil sa banta ng tsunami.
