Pilipinas at ADB, nilagdaan na ang loan agreement para sa Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge Project

Nilagdaan ngayong araw ng Pilipinas at Asian Development Bank (ADB) ang loan agreement para sa first tranche ng Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge (BCIB) Project.

Kapag nakumpleto ang BCIB project ay inaasahan itong magiging longest marine bridge sa mundo.

Ang ADB BCIB financing ay nagkakahalaga ng US$2.11 billion o tinatayang P118.32 billion, para sa construction ng climate-resilient bridge na may habang 32.15 kilometers na itatayo sa ibabaw ng Manila Bay.

Layon nitong i-decongest ang Metro Manila at isulong ang economic growth ng dalawang lalawigan, at mga karatig probinsya.

Samantala, nilagdaan din ang US$200 million o P11.15 billion Infrastructure Preparation and Innovation Facility – Second Additional Financing (lPlF-AF2), na naglalayong taasan ang infrastructure investment sa bansa kabilang ang climate action.
