Grupo ng mga Filipino economist, naniniwala na ang  Economic Cha-Cha ay magbubukas ng mga potensyal sa Pilipinas

Naniniwala ang mga ekonomista sa bansa na ang pagsasagawa ng Economic Charter Change ay magbibigay daan na mapahusay ang  potensyal ng bansa sa mass media at renewable energy.

Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng Foundation for Economic Freedom (FEF) na ang panukalang amiyenda sa 1987 Constitution ay magtutulak sa paglago ng ekonomiya at magde-develop sa kakayahan ng bansa sa global economic landscape.

Suhestyon din ng FEF na amiyendahan ang National Economy and Patrimony at  Filipino-first provisions ng Saligang Batas.

Pagdating naman sa investment nais ng FEF na payagan ang 100-percent foreign ownership sa larangan ng  exploration, development, utilization of natural resources, maging ang industriya ng  mass media.

Naniniwala ang grupo na kapag na naalis ang economic restrictions sa  Philippine Constitution, mabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga  policymakers na tumugon sa umuusbong na pangangailangan sa ekonomiya. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz-Reyes
