Nakiusap si Senior Deputy Speaker at Pampanga 3rd District Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr. sa mga senador na pakinggan ang panawagan ng business sector na maamyendahan ang economic at investment provision ng Saligang Batas upang makalikha pa ng dagdag na trabaho at pagkakakitaan para sa mga Pilipino.
Ito’y matapos maitala ang malaking pagbaba sa bilang ng mga walang trabaho noong Nobyembre ng 2023 sa 1.83 million mula sa dating 2.09 million noong Oktubre.
“This means that there were an additional 260,000 of our labor force who got themselves employed in jobs created in the economy through investments. We could create more job and income opportunities for our people if we could attract more investments, especially funds from foreign investors,” ani Gonzales

“So we are urging the Senate, which has consistently resisted any form of Charter change, to heed the clamor of the business sector.
