LTO, target na makakolekta ng P43-B revenue ngayong 2024

Mas gagawing agresibo ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) ang kampanya nito at implementasyon ng mga programa upang makahikayat ng deliquent vehicle owners na i-renew ang kanilang registration sa tamang oras.

Ito ay upang maabot ang target na makakolekta ng P43 bilyon na revenue ngayong 2024.

Paliwanag ni LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, ang target na revenue collection ay mahalaga para mapondohan ang mga programa at proyekto ng ahensya sa ilalim ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

Nilinaw din ni Mendoza, na sa kabila ng mataas na revenue target ng ahensya ngayong taon hindi ibig sabihin na tututukan lang ng LTO ang panghuhuli sa mga motorista dahil nawawala ang layunin na madisiplina ang mga motorista.

Ang P43 bilyon revenue target ng LTO ngayong 2024 ay mas mataas ng 28% kumpara sa P31 bilyon na revenue target noong 2023, na maituturing aniyang historical dahil ito ang unang beses na itaas sa nabanggit na halaga.

Nakipagpulong na rin ang LTO Chief sa mga regional director ng ahensya upang mapag-usapan ang inisyal na plano kung paano makakamit ang P43 bilyon revenue collection ngayong taon. | ulat ni Diane Lear
