“His extensive experience and proven leadership, having previously served as Director-General of the NEDA, Senator of the Philippines, and Deputy Speaker of the 19th Congress of the House of Representatives, epitomize his steadfast commitment to public service and his dedication to the well-being of our nation. We are confident that his expertise and vision will continue to positively shape the economic landscape of our country.” ani Bongalon
“Sen. Recto’s track record as a legislator is remarkable, having chaired several key committees in the Senate, including on Government Corporations and Public Enterprises and on Science and Technology, among others. His comprehensive understanding of the intricate details of economic and financial matters is undoubtedly an asset as we navigate the complex challenges facing our nation.
“I warmly congratulate Deputy Speaker Ralph Recto on his appointment as Secretary of Finance. He brings with him a vast knowledge and experience in financial and economic matters. I hope that as a grandson of the great nationalist Claro Mayo Recto, he would resist attempts to do away with the nationalistic provisions in the Constitution which were enshrined to preserve and protect Philippine patrimony from alien control and domination.” saad ni Lagman | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
