Naitalang insidente ng sunog ngayong holiday season, tumaas – BFP

Tumaas ang naitalang insidente ng sunog sa buong bansa na sanhi ng paputok mula Disyembre 31, 2023 hanggang Enero 1, 2024.

Ayon kay Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Spokesperson Fire Supt. Annalee Atienza, mas mataas ito kumpara sa parehong panahon noong 2022.

Mula Disyembre 31, 2023 hanggang Enero 1, 2024 nakapagtala ang BFP ng 81 insidente ng sunog.

Mula sa 81 naitalang sunog, walo dito ay sanhi ng paputok.

Ito ay mas mataas kung ikukumpara sa 15 insidente ng sunog na naitala simula Disyembre 31 hanggang Enero 2022 kung saan isa lang ang firecracker related incident.

Sa walong firecracker related na sunog, dalawa ang naitala sa Antipolo, isa sa Negros Occidental, isa sa Ilocos Norte, dalawa sa Tondo Maynila at isa sa Roxas City.

Dagdag ni Atienza, walang nasawi sa mga naitalang mga sunog na kaugnay sa New Year’s revelry nitong 2023 kumpara noong 2022 na may isang naitalang nasawi. | ulat ni Rey Ferrer
