Hinikayat ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang international business community na dumalo sa gaganaping World Economic Forum CEO Roundtable meeting, na idaraos dito sa Pilipinas sa Marso.
Ginawa ng House leader ang pahayag sa kaniyang pagdalo sa Learning from ASEAN session sa 2024 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
Aniya, dito ibibida ang natatanging bentahe ng Pilipinas bilang nangungunang destinasyon para sa foreign investment.
“I see an ASEAN Parliament like the EU, I aspire for that. That has been an aspiration of the ASEAN ever since its inception. And to see the seeds of that we invite you to Manila this March 18 to 19. Manila and the Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. will be hosting the World Economic Forum CEO Round Table. You will get a glimpse of our aspiration of an ASEAN Parliament,” sabi ni Romualdez.
Pagbibida ni Romualdez, na ang CEO roundtable na ito ay isang espesyal na in-person event na inaasahang gaganapin sa Malacañang Presidential compound sa Maynila.
Ito rin aniya ang kauna-unahang high-level roundtable na gaganapin sa Asia Apcific region matapos ang pandemiya.
Inaasahan aniya na dadalo dito ang 50 mga kinatawan mula sa lokal at internasyonal na mga kumpanya at organisasyon na karamihan ay may kaugnayan sa foreign fund at investment na nagpahayag ng interes sa Maharlika Investment Fund.
