12 arestado sa operasyon ng iligal na online gaming sa Parañaque City

Arestado ng mga awtoridad ang 12 indibidwal matapos ang raid na isinagawa ng magkasamang pwersa ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) at Anti-Cybercrime Group ng Philippine National Police (PNP) katuwang ang monitoring team ng PAGCOR sa sinasabing ilegal na operasyon ng online gaming sa isang subdivision sa Parañaque City.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang 11 computer sets, 21 cellphones, 2 ipads, 6 na laptop, at mga flash drive.

Ayon sa PAGCOR, alok umano ng nasabing illegal online gaming site ang iba’t ibang laro tulad ng slot machines, live casino, at e-sports.

Inihain na sa Parañaque Regional Trial Court ang kaso para sa mga nahuling nag-o-operate ng iligal na gaming site.

Habang binigyang-diin naman ni PAGCOR Senior Vice President for Security and Monitoring Cluster Raul Villanueva ang patuloy na pakikipag-ugnayan nito sa mga law enforcement agency kontra sa illegal online gambling sabay panawagan sa publiko na huwag tangkilikin ang mga ganitong online gaming sites at bagkus maglaro lamang sa pamamagitan ng mga legal na online platform. | ulat ni EJ Lazaro
