DOF, masusing nakikipag-ugnayan sa Toll Regulatory Board, para sa panuntunan ng “pass-through” sa toll charges ng mga food trucks

Nakatakdang ilabas ni Department of Finance (DOF) ang panuntunan sa pagpapatupad ng toll rate hike exemption para sa mga trucks na bumibiyahe ng mga agricultural products.

Ayon kay Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, ito’y upang tugunan ang “second round effect” ng pagtataas ng toll rate.

Sa ngayon, masusing nakikipag-uganayan ang DOF sa Toll regulatory  Board (TRB) at ang mga tollway concessionaires para sa pagsasapinal ng  guidelines.

Layon ng naturang hakbang na maiwasan na tumaas ang presyo ng pagkain partikular ng mga produktong agricultural bunsod ng pagtataas ng singil sa toll.

Sa susunod na Biyernes, February 16, nakatakdang magpulong ang Inter-agency Committee on Inflation and Market Outlook (IAC-IMO) na pinangungunahan ng National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) at DOF upang talakayin ang mga hakbang  upang mapigilan ang food and non-food inflation.  | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
