DTI, mas palalakasin pa ang kampanya vs. illegal na pagbebenta ng VAPE sa bansa

Mas papalakasin pa ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ang kampanya kontra sa illegal na pagbebenta ng Vaporized Nicotine Product o vape sa bansa.

Ayon kay Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual sa kanilang kampanya kontra iligal na pagbenenta ng vape sa bansa, patuloy ang kanilang pagsu-surveillance sa mga physical store ng vape products kung saan umabot na sa 18 vape stores ang lumabag sa illegal na pagbebenta, na nagkakahalaga ng P5.5 million.

Dagdag pa ni Pascual, na dapat ay iparehistro sa DTI ang ganitong klaseng business establishment alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11900 o ang Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

Saad pa ni Pascual, na dapat ang mga itinitindang mga vape product ay pasok sa mga panuntunan o standards ng DTI upang hindi maipasara o makapagmulta sa nasabing batas.

Muli namang paalala ni Pascual sa mga gumagamit at nagtitinda ng vape products, na sumunod sa batas at bumili sa mga accredited store ng DTI upang maging protektado, at hindi makagamit ng substandard na produkto nang maging ligtas ang kanilang kalusugan. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
