“You go anywhere in Mindanao, all areas in Mindanao, okay naman yung relatively peaceful. Of course there are problems in terms of peace and security. Nakita naman, this is a remnant of what happened in 2017. And there’s an ongoing military operation against yung mga remnants po.” sabi ni Adiong
“I don’t know how the military is handling this but I’m pretty sure they know exactly how the funds are coming in. Sino yung mga tao? In fact, just recently mayroon silang nahuli na isa sa mga nag-ahandle. I think yung finances coming in, resources coming in from other countries, nahuli ng DOJ, nahuli ng NBI. So this is part of our security sector’s approach in not only running after the remnants of the ISIS, whatever they are, but also the other agencies who may be a part of an overall campaign against the terrorist organization like ISIS.” dagdag ng mambabatas
“Seryoso po ang ating security sector, although mahirap nga po talaga physically because you’re talking about running after. It takes individual ng mga troops na i-deploy mo doon to run after the remnants. But hopefully with the support of the LGUs, we’ve seen how we were able to liberate Marawi City. And I don’t see any reason why as the same problem again may pop up in the future, maliliit na po talaga mga cells.” ani Adiong | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
