Bibisita si Land Transportation Office (LTO) Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II sa mga regional office ng ahensya.
Ito ay upang paigtingin ang implementasyon ng “No Registration, No Travel” policy ng LTO.
Ayon kay Mendoza, layon din ng kaniyang pagbisita na makita ang mga programa, proyekto, at good practices ng bawat rehiyon na maaaring gayahin sa ibang parte ng bansa.
Aniya, iisa lang naman ang layunin ng LTO at ‘yun ay gawing maayos, mabilis, at may malasakit na serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.
Kaugnay nito ay binisita ni Mendoza ang LTO Regional Office 1 kung saan iprinisinta sa opisyal ang Regional 1 Information Management Terminal o RiMAT.
Ang naturang sistema ay malaking bagay upang ma-streamline o mapadali ang mga proseso at serbisyo ng LTO.
Batay sa datos ng LTO, nasa kabuuang 272,233 na mga delinquent motor vehicle ang nagparehistro na simula January 1 hanggang January 31.
Target naman ng LTO na makapagparehistro na sa lalong madaling panahon ang nasa 24 milyon na mga delinquent motor vehicle na paso na ang registration. | ulat ni Diane Lear
