Pinatotohanan ng presensya sa paglulunsasd ng Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) sa Sultan Kudarat ng 50 Mindanao solons na nagkakaisa ang Pilipinas sa ilalim ng liderato ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ayon kay Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Ayon pa sa House leader ang pwersa ng mga mambabatas ay sapat nang tugon laban sa panawagan ng paghiwalay ng Mindanao.
“This remarkable turnout serves as a resounding testament to the unity and solidarity of Mindanao lawmakers to a united Philippines under the visionary leadership of President Marcos. It sends a powerful message that despite our diverse backgrounds and regional differences, we stand together as one nation, united in our commitment to building a brighter future for all Filipinos,” saad ni Speaker Romualdez.
“By coming together in solidarity, we demonstrate our steadfast rejection of any attempts to undermine the unity and integrity of our nation. We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to upholding the principles of peace, unity and nation-building,” dagdag pa niya.
Kabilang sa mga mambabatas na dumalo sa BPSF sa Sultan Kudarat sina: Representatives Migs Nograles, Christian Unabia, Bambi Emano, Lordan Suan, Toto Suansing, Yasser Balindong, Divina Yu, John Flores, Khymer Olaso, Aldu Dujali, Joboy Aquino, Wilter Palma, Sam Santos, Peter Miguel, Ed Lumayag, Alan Ecleo, Mannix Dalipe, Maricar Zamora, Bingo Matugas, Steve Solon, Glona Labadlabad, Pinpin Uy, Victoria Yu, Nelson Dayanghirang, Munir Arbison, Antonieta Eudela, Loreto Acharon, Alfelito Bascug, Mohamad Paglas, at Jason Almonte.
Nasa 150,000 na Mindanaons naman ang nakinabang sa ₱1.2-billion na halaga ng tulong ng pamahalaan sa BPSF.
Ito ang pinakamalaking BPSF kung saan nakibahagi ang 55 ahensya ng pamahalaan at nag-rollout ng 329 na programa, proyekto, at serbisyo.
Nasa ₱200-million na halaga ng cash assistance ang ipinagkaloob sa ilalim ng AICS ng DSWD at TUPAD ng DOLE.
Bahagi rin ng BPSF ang pamamahagi ng Cash Assistance and Rice Distribution Program (CARD) sa may 28,000 benepisyaryo na nakatanggap ng higit sa 500,000 kilo ng bigas. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
