Ibinida ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na 56 sa 59 na LEDAC priority bills ang napagtibay na ng Kamara.
Ginawa ito ng House leader sa ika-apat na pulong ng ng Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) sa Malacañang ngayong araw.
Aniya, 19 sa priority measure na tinukoy ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at LEDAC, na dapat maipasa sa Hunyo 2024 ay natapos na nila ng tatlong buwan na mas maaga.
“Mr. President, we have done our homework and all the 19 measures re-prioritized for target by June 2024 have been approved on the third and final reading by the House of Representatives,” sabi ni Romualdez.
Kabilang dito ang ARAL o Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Program Act at CREATE MORE, na kapwa inaprubahan sa ikatlong pagbasa nitong Lunes at ang Negros Island Region Bill na maiaakyat na sa tanggapan ng Pangulong Marcos.
Kasalukuyan naman aniyang nakasalang sa bicameral conference committee ang panukalang amyenda sa Anti-Agricultural Smuggling Act, Magna Carta for Seafarers at ang Valuation Reform Act.
Ani Romualdez, ipinapakita nito ang pagiging proactive ng Kamara bilang bahagi ng pamahalaan, upang tugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng taumbayan salig sa Philippine Development Plan at 8-point Socio-Economic Agenda sa ilalim ng Medium-Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF) ni PBBM.
