Camarines Sur Solon, nanawagan sa Kongreso na ipasa ang panukalang pension fund ng mga magsasaka at mangingisda

Itinutulak ni Camarines Sur Representative LRay Villafuerte at Bicol Saro Representative Brian Yamsuan ang pagsasabatas ng panukalang “Agricultural pension Fund” o APF.

Sa ilalim ng House Bill No. 7963, imamandato sa Philippine Crop Insurance Fund (PCIC) na bumuo ng kauna-unahang pension fund na kanila ring pangangasiwaan.

Ayon kay Villafuerte, nararapat lamang na magkaroon ng pension program ang mga kababayan nating magsasaka at mangingisda dahil kabilang sila sa pinakamahihirap na pamilya sa bansa.

Kinikilala ng naturang HB na ang “universal access to comprehensive and adequate social protection systems,” bilang importanteng paraan upang mabawasan ang kahirapan sa bansa.

Sa ngayon, ang “Agricultural Pension Fund Act,” HB 7963 ay inindorso ng House leadership sa pag-aaral ng Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization. | ulat ni Melany Valdoz Reyes
