Makakaasa ang mga Pilipino na maiuuwi ng Philippine Government sa bansa si dating Rep. Arnulfo Teves Jr., na matagal nang pinaghahanap ng mga otoridad dahil sa pagkakasangkot sa pamamaslang kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo at siyam na iba pa, noong March 2023.
Pahayag ito ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. kasunod ng pagkaka-aresto kay Teves sa Timor Leste, kahapon.
Sa naging mensahe ng Pangulo, pinapurihan nito ang balikatan ng Philippine enforcement agencies at International Police sa pagkaka-aresto kay Teves.

Nagpasalamat rin ang Pangulo sa mga tumulong upang patuloy na maitaguyod ang peace and order.
Gagawin aniya ng pamahalaan ang lahat upang harapin ni Teves ang mga reklamong inihain laban sa kanya.
