Hinihikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang mga defense company sa Czech Republic na magsumite ng proposal sa Pilipinas, at makibahagi sa ginagawang modernization program ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), at mag-supply ng defense capability requirement sa Pilipinas sa hinaharap.
Ayon sa Pangulo, welcome sa Pilipinas ang efforts ng Czech Republic na suportahan ang AFP Modernization program bilang bahagi ng technology transfer ng bansa at defense investment initiatives.
Kung matatandaan, una nang sinabi ni Czech President Petr Pavel, na suportado ng kanilang pamahalaan ang modernization program na ito.
“The Czech Republic has had a long tradition when it comes to defense industry. We have a lot to offer,” President Pavel.
Ayon naman kay Czech Republic Prime Minister Petr Fiala, handa silang tulungan ang Pilipinas na paigtingin ang defense security measures nito lalo na ang mga benepisyaryo aniya ng kanilang bansa, at handang mag-supply ng kinakailangang teknolohiya para sa resources sa hinaharap.
“The Philippines is a more regional partner in the field of defense and corporation is just an operation and they are very interested to help with the process of modernization of military equipment,” Prime Minister Fiala.
Kaugnay nito, nagpasalamat si Pangulong Marcos sa effort ng Czech officials.
Ang Czech, palagi aniyang aktibo bilang source of equipment ng Pilipinas kaya’t welcome ang mga alok ng Prague.
“The Czech Republic has always been active as a source of equipment from the Philippines. And so, we come again to Czech Republic and offer the, the partnership with the Czech Republic and the Philippines,” —Pangulong Marcos. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
