PPA- Port Management Office ng Zamboanga, nakilahok sa 1st quarter ng NSED 2024

Nakilahok ang mga tauhan ng Philippine Ports Authority – Port Management Office (PPA-PMO) ng Zamboanga sa 1st Quarter ng Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2024 nitong araw.

Ang naturang drill na isinasagawa quarterly kada-taon ay nagsisilbing gabay para sa mga empleyado ng naturang tanggapan upang siguruhin ang kahandaan ng mga ito sa pagkakataon na mayroong lindol.

Nagsilbing observers din ng nasabing aktibidad ang Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), Zamboanga City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (ZCDRRMO), at ang Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Siniguro rin ng mga tanggapan na maayos ang pagsasagawa ng naturang drill, at sinuri ng mga ito ang kahandaan ng mga nakilahok sa aktibidad at ang evacuation timelines sa isinagawang 1st quarter NSED ng PPA-PMO.

Patuloy din ang pagpapaalala ng mga eksperto sa publiko hinggil sa safety protocol na “DUCK, COVER, and HOLD” sa mga pagkakataon na mayroong lindol.| ulat ni Justin Bulanon| RP1 Zamboanga
